evolution of the Bass River Parish from a precinct of Salem, to the bustling
city we see today. The First Parish Church Historical Committee, as part of its
program to catalog and preserve the Church’s ancient archives, has taken on the
long term task of preserving, photographing and indexing this priceless
collection.
